Presentation of first results of the planned blended intensive program [COMMON GROUND] by the U!REKA Lab: Co-Creativity in Social Arts from Edinburgh, Lisbon, Groningen and Frankfurt live and online at the international week of the derpartnent of Social Work and Health at Frankfurt UAS.
11.05. 16.00 -17.30 CET: Online/blended presentation / Theatre, Building 2, basement & Zoom
Lisbon (15-20’): Online Dance (Sylvia Rijmer, Amélia Bentes). Introduction regarding Dance and its importance within transdisciplinary research and presentation by AMÈLIA BENTES: Dance Faculty member, Choreographer, Composition and Contemporary Dance Technique at the Superior School of Dance. Amélia will discuss a site-specific dance-creation that she made with some of the Bachelor Degree dance students of the Superior School, and specifically share her creative practice and show a short video excerpt of her choreographic work constructed at the iconic site, The São Jorge Castle in Lisbon.
Edinburgh (15-20’): [COMMON GROUND] in progress (students from Edinburgh & Stacey Bushfield). Students from Edinburgh present initial results from their research on support for student wellbeing and housing and social sustainability and share the links to the podcasts they have developed.
Groningen (15-20‘): Presentations from Hanze Art Academy (Zita Pitoy, Gerami Peyman & Adri Schocker). Students of MA Interrelational Art Practices present their work.
Frankfurt (10-15’): Ostrava revisited. Short video from the Erasmus Blended Intensive Programme (BIP) in Ostrava, Czech Republic, April 2023 of the U!REKA Lab: Urban Commons & some words on the scheduled [COMMON GROUND] BIP in Frankfurt, 10.-16.10.2023.
